This policy is provided by JiuKong Labs for JiuKong Calendar, JiuKong Alarm, Lang Cursor (久空游標), DiskPeek, Monitor Recorder, Jiukong Zhuyin, and this website. It covers versions distributed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, and official direct downloads. Features differ by platform.

For privacy and data requests, contact jiukonglabs@gmail.com. This policy distinguishes on-device processing, cloud features you use, and third-party services. Local access does not necessarily send data to the developer. We do not sell your personal data.

JiuKong Calendar

When you connect Google or Microsoft, the app accesses authorized account identifiers (name, email, and the Google profile image URL), calendar lists, and events including titles, dates, times, descriptions, locations, and attendee email addresses. These support account display, viewing, creating, editing, deleting, and syncing events, and local reminders. This does not grant access to your entire address book or continuously track device location.

Account and event caches, sync ranges, and preferences are stored on your device. Calendar operations are sent to your connected Google Calendar or Microsoft Graph service. Google credentials are handled by its sign-in component; Microsoft authorization credentials use secure device storage. You do not provide your Google or Microsoft password to JiuKong Labs. Mobile versions also use AdMob and platform purchases as described below.

JiuKong Alarm

Alarm times, repeat days, groups, labels, sound settings, imported custom sounds, and preferences are processed locally to schedule and play reminders. Notifications and system alarm permissions support timely alerts. No JiuKong registration is required. Mobile versions use AdMob and offer a platform purchase to remove ads.

You can import or export alarm backups. On iOS versions supporting iCloud backup, choosing Back up to iCloud saves alarm settings in your private CloudKit database. Only the latest backup is kept; the next backup replaces it. It excludes custom sound files, world clocks, timers, and app preferences, and is not background synchronization.

Lang Cursor · 久空游標

The app reads the macOS input source and cursor position locally to display a language indicator. Indicator text, colors, and appearance preferences are saved locally. Typed text is not collected and the input source is not sent to the developer. No registration is required. Full-version entitlements are processed through Apple purchases.

DiskPeek

The app reads metadata such as paths, sizes, and modification times from folders or disks you authorize, for local storage analysis and cleanup. It does not collect or upload file contents and requires no registration. Files moved to Trash remain managed by macOS. Full-version entitlements are processed through Apple purchases.

Monitor Recorder

Camera and microphone access enable video and audio recording and level monitoring. Photo library or media storage access saves and manages your recordings. iOS versions with location tagging can add recording locations to video metadata with your permission; recording works without location access. Media is processed on-device and is not uploaded to developer servers. No registration is required and no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs are included.

Media and location tags you export or share are sent to your selected recipients or services. If your photo library or system backup uses cloud synchronization, that platform may also store the content. Where purchases are offered, transactions are processed by the relevant platform store.

Jiukong Zhuyin

The input method processes keystrokes, phonetics, composition, and candidates locally. Depending on learning settings, it stores committed characters, phrases, readings, selection counts, timestamps, pins, and hidden-phrase records to personalize candidate ranking. Learning records may contain personal text you type; this is not a no-storage service. It does not read existing documents in other apps.

Versions supporting iCloud sync enable it by default; you can disable it in Settings → Data. Learning records and cursor appearance preferences sync to the private CloudKit database of the same Apple Account, using CloudKit encrypted fields. Input and candidate lookup remain local. Deletion markers prevent an offline device from restoring deleted records.

Personal-data exports contain characters, phrases, and usage statistics and are not encrypted. Shared vocabulary files contain phrases, readings, and hidden phrases, without counts, timestamps, or pins. You choose where to save or share them. Update checks contact GitHub at most once every 24 hours; update downloads also connect. Composition and learning data are not transmitted, but GitHub can receive your IP address and ordinary connection information. No JiuKong registration is required.

Account linking is optional and uses the provider's authorization screen. Access is limited to account identification and calendar features. Calendar data is not sold, used for advertising or advertising profiles, sent to AdMob, or used to train general-purpose AI or machine-learning models. Event attendees you add may receive event details under the provider's invitation and sharing rules.

JiuKong Calendar's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Transfers are limited to necessary user-facing features or security, legal, and consented business-transfer circumstances permitted by that policy. Human access is likewise restricted to permitted circumstances, such as your explicit consent for specific assistance, security investigations, or legal requirements.

You can disconnect in the app and revoke Google access in Google Account connections. Manage Microsoft authorization through its account app-permission controls; work or school accounts may require administrator assistance. Disconnecting or revoking permission does not delete source calendar events or your Google, Microsoft, or Apple account.

Mobile versions of JiuKong Calendar and JiuKong Alarm use Google AdMob with non-personalized ad requests. Non-personalized ads still process data: Google's ads SDK may collect IP addresses and inferred approximate location, device or advertising identifiers, ad impressions and clicks, product interactions, crash reports, and performance diagnostics for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. Google and its advertising service partners may process this data. Exact types depend on platform, SDK version, and consent status.

Manage app tracking permission in iOS settings or advertising identifiers in Android settings. Where the app provides Ad privacy settings, use it to adjust applicable advertising consent. Refusing tracking does not affect core calendar or alarm features, but does not stop all advertising connections or necessary processing. Platform tracking permission and advertising consent are separate choices. Removing ads through a purchase does not retroactively delete data Google has already processed.

Where paid features are offered, Apple App Store/StoreKit or Google Play processes payment. Apps use transaction verification, purchase status, and entitlement information to unlock features or restore purchases, without receiving full card numbers or bank account details. Transaction retention, refunds, and store accounts are managed under the platform's rules.

Apple handles iCloud/CloudKit and Apple purchases; Google handles its calendars, ads, Google Play, and email sent to Gmail; Microsoft handles connected Microsoft calendars; GitHub handles input-method update checks and downloads. Providers may process data outside your location under their respective protection and retention policies. We use relevant data only for these features, assistance you request, or legal obligations.

Retention is limited to what is needed for features, your requests, and applicable legal obligations. You manage device-only data. Cloud copies, exports, and platform transaction records have separate retention rules and do not all disappear when an app is removed.

• Calendar: Disconnecting clears the app's connection state and cache for that account. Delete source events in Google or Microsoft Calendar. Revoking provider access alone may leave local caches; disconnect in the app or clear its local data as well.
• Alarm: Delete alarms or manage custom sounds in the app. Local deletion does not update an existing iCloud backup. The latest cloud backup remains until replaced by another backup or removed through Apple's iCloud storage management. Delete exported files separately.
• Lang Cursor and DiskPeek: Local preferences may remain after removing a macOS app. Files moved by DiskPeek require emptying Trash for deletion; uninstalling does not delete original files.
• Monitor Recorder: Manage recordings in the app, photo library, or media storage, including Recently Deleted and cloud copies as needed. Revoking camera, microphone, or location permission does not remove existing recordings or location tags.
• Jiukong Zhuyin: Clear characters, phrases, or all learning data in Settings → Data. Deletions sync when iCloud sync is enabled and connected successfully; cloud deletion markers retain identifying text, readings, and composition mappings rather than physically removing the entire record. These markers remain to prevent older records from returning. Use Apple’s iCloud storage management separately to remove the entire cloud dataset. Disabling sync does not erase cloud copies. Uninstalling also retains local learning data. Manage exports, system backups, and iCloud data separately.
• Third-party data: Ad, transaction, and platform records follow provider retention policies. Request deletion through the relevant provider's controls; we cannot directly erase records held independently by third parties.

Apps use platform permission and storage protections, and calendar and CloudKit connections use protected service channels. Privacy requests and correspondence are accessible only to personnel who need them to handle the request. Protect your device and cloud accounts; do not assume manual exports are encrypted. No storage or transmission method is absolutely secure.

You may revoke notifications, camera, microphone, photos, location, or tracking permissions in system settings; affected features may stop working. Manage calendar authorization and iCloud sync as described above. Disabling learning, sync, or permissions limits subsequent processing but does not automatically delete existing data.

To access, correct, obtain a copy of, or delete personal data we hold, or to request deletion assistance, email jiukonglabs@gmail.com with the app, platform, data concerned, and action requested. Do not send passwords, authorization credentials, or full payment details. If identity verification is necessary, we request only information needed to handle your request.

We handle requests under applicable law and respond about scope and progress. We explain any legal retention requirement or data we cannot delete. For data held only on your device or private cloud account, we provide instructions without asking for your password. This contact channel does not close your Apple, Google, or Microsoft account.

This website stores your language choice locally in your browser; clearing site data resets it. The pages do not include advertising or visitor analytics scripts. Hosting and network providers may still process IP addresses, browser details, request times, and URLs to deliver pages, maintain security, and diagnose issues.

When you email us, Gmail and we process your sender address, message, and any screenshots or attachments you provide, only to reply, troubleshoot, or handle data requests. Correspondence is retained as needed for the case, follow-up, and legal obligations; you can request deletion through the contact above. Remove unnecessary personal information from attachments before sending.

These tools are not designed specifically for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13; where local law sets a higher protected age, we follow that law. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided us personal data can contact us for review and deletion.

We update this policy as features and data practices change. Material changes are announced on the website or in the relevant app. Where renewed consent is required, it is requested before the related processing.
