Notification and system-alarm permissions are used only to provide alarm functionality; the microphone is used only when you record a ringtone, and recordings stay on your device.

On iOS, you can choose iCloud or Google Drive. Google Drive backup requests only the drive.appdata scope and creates, reads, and deletes JiuKong Alarm backups only in the hidden app-specific appDataFolder; it does not read ordinary Google Drive files. Cloud backups may contain alarms, time-announcement settings, custom sounds, world clocks, saved timers, group-action settings, language and theme preferences, and related app settings, and may retain multiple recent versions according to backup-retention logic. Android versions may also use Google Drive or supported platform backup mechanisms.

Google's advertising components may process IP address and inferred approximate location, device or advertising identifiers, ad impressions and clicks, product interaction, crash data, and performance diagnostics as needed for its services. Remove-ads purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play; JiuKong Labs does not receive full payment-card or bank-account details.

Manually exported backup files must be deleted separately from the location you chose.

Shutdown, power loss, silent or focus modes, volume, system updates, permission changes, background restrictions, or operating-system errors may affect reminders. Do not use JiuKong Alarm as the sole reminder for medical, safety, emergency, or other situations where a missed alert could cause serious harm.
